Do not charge 30$ for an artwork that took u 10h to create!!! That would be working for 3$ per hour which isnt even the minimum hourly rate!!

You should charge an hourly rate to assure that u get compensated for the time and work u put into ur artwork!!

An art student should charge anywhere from 25-50$ per HOUR on average. So if u take 10h to create an illustrations, u should get payed 250-500$ for ur work.

A more seasoned or skilled artist would usually charge anywhere from 100-250+/hr. That would be 1000-2500$ for 10h of work which fluctuates depending on what kind of work ur doing.

Ofcourse this all depends on skill level and client but it& #39;s an estimate to go by.

So please for the love of god, do not sell urself short!! I& #39;m tired of seeing yall charge 15$ for a full blown 10/10 illustration. It& #39;s daylight robbery at this point https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💀" title="Schädel" aria-label="Emoji: Schädel">

Also disclaimer: ur still free to charge less than what i mentioned but just try and not work for 1$ an hour.
ADDITION:

For those of u worried that u won& #39;t get commissioned at all if u charge what ur actually worth, i understand that fear.

But wouldnt it be better to wait for someone who pays u atleast minimum wage than someone who expects u to work for less than 1$ an hour?
Ofcourse I& #39;m not forcing yall to do anything, just giving a heads up that some of u are being exploited and used.

Please value ur hard work, talent, blood sweat and tears more. U deserve to get compensated correctly and not undermined.
