Isn’t it extraordinary that Murray manufacturing fuss at Scouts over Maya using “he” (to refer to a bearded male) instead of the bizarre “they” was turned, by the genderist rumour mill, into her “misgendering” an imaginary transgender employee of CGD?
But sure, genderists: this erstwhile PTA president & Scout leader is the monster 🙄🤦‍♀️
This is “they” 🙄🤦‍♀️
So, “they” threw a mantrum when Maya queried scouts policy which meant adult men sleeping in girls’ accommodation on residential trips...

...that mantrum was picked up on by Justice Tayler as pivotal facts, ergo wrongly contextualised...

...and he branded Maya as a witch.
Has there ever been such a transparent stitch-up by the ole’ patriarchy? It’s almost embarrassing, and would be funny were it not that a woman’s livelihood was undermined, and that she must be the tip of the iceberg of women who have lost income & reputation thanks to GII.
Gah.
I know not everyone in the “GC” camp believed there is such a thing, in this country, as a social system in which men hold power and women are largely excluded from it, but I’d love to hear an alternative explanation for how a researcher, PTA president & scout leader...
...can lose her livelihood and be lumped together with Holocaust deniers for calling an imaginary trans-ID male colleague “he” instead of “they.” That’s what “absolutism” means, does it? FFS. She *has* to win this appeal.
Stereotypically speaking, women are supposed to be the morbidly sensitive sex. I beg to differ! Look at the fuss & nonsense over men’s delicate gendery feelings. Can it be that they believe “being a woman”/NB requires morbid levels of sensitivity to imaginary slights? Pft.
I was at the first instance hearing which Maya lost. She has waited a long time for justice. We have waited with her. If the Employment Appeal Tribunal finds that “GC” beliefs really aren’t compatible with democracy—as opposed to part of the foundation of democracy—well...
Let’s not think about that. Next Tuesday & Wednesday we will have a reckoning.
And if we lose (because this really has a knock-on impact on the whole society), there’s always the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court...

Although those avenues could take years to resolve.

We need a win next week. Send thoughts, prayers, everything towards Maya next week.
Also—please challenge misinformation about her case when you see it crop up on socmed 🙏🏻
I should try to be crisp, instead of rambling: what is at stake, next week, is the right of healthcare workers, lawyers, teachers etc to state that #SexMatters in the workplace. This case has seismic ramifications for the unpicking of cognitive capture of our institutions by GII.
Court guidance--in the form of the Equal Treatment Bench Book--should not be applied as a general rule across society that women are forbidden to notice that men are men! It's insane that we are all being gaslit, confused & silenced by gender identity ideology.
The wall of unreality must crumble. People need to be able to clearly say who is a man, and who is a woman, in all kinds of settings. Any ideology which undermines our ability to speak about that is a backdoor to totalitarianism.
I believe in our senior judiciary. I place great faith in our court system and the rule of law, imperfect though they are: they--along with GC crowdfunders--have been the last bulwark against chaos. The EAT judges can't afford to fluff this one. Too much hangs in the balance.
