Also it's deeply funny that they made him almost a decent person and still had to shove the gd meadow scene in a half dozen times to try to make it look like they had something. And it *still* didn't work. I just don't get why them being family to each other wasn't obv #sabwatch
I'm trying not to talk about Mal, but it's incredible how the action slams to a halt when he comes on the scene. There's just nothing interesting to explore there at all. #sabwatch

This is one of the huge problems I had with the books. Alina and co. pass judgment on the darkling and his crew for their methods but never over any solution for the grisha actively suffering or the "endless war"? #sabwatch
If you're going to get angry at her for not sending your dumb letters, at least offer a better option. Judgement without a solution is worse that useless #sabwatch

Like the main thrust of the series being against any kind of revolution against a regime that's led by a rapist and condones pointless war is a weird ass choice tbh #sabwatch
Seriously, the choice to make Mal act just when the Darkling says he's stopping this pointless war that gets no explanation besides killing people for kicks is darkly funny #sabwatch
