This is a long one, buckle up! (I'm so sorry that it's long qwq)
3. Flower Field
"Want to go for a picnic?" Was the text Sapnap received, he had only been in England for a day or two and he's done so much already with George. He doesn't mind it, in fact he's enjoying it since he's only here for two weeks. So for today's picnic, Sapnap rented+
a car and George packed a few insulated bags for the food and bringing some blankets. George told Sapnap which way to go during the drive. "C'mon Gogy where we going?" Sapnap asked as they drove around the country side "You'll see, just wait" George smirked at the nickname.+
Sapnap drove a little longer until George spoke up pointing out the windshield "there!" Sapnap pressed on the breaks, passing the turn "Sorry" He apologized backing up then turning into a huge field...a huge flower field! "Woaah" Sapnap gazed at the field full of wildflowers as+
he parked and turned off the car. George popped the door open, stepping out and stretching. Sapnap hopped out still continuing to stare at the field. The two of them opened the back doors and grabbed the things for the picnic and headed into the field. The field was beautiful,+
filled with all kinds of blooming flowers. The field seemed to glitter from left over morning dew as the sun shone high above the sky. Sapnap was transfixed on the beauty while George spread out the blankets in an open area. "This place is beautiful George, how'd you find it?"+
Sapnap asked setting the bags of food down on the blankets "I was with family one time and while driving we saw the flowers, we come here quite often actually" George smiled at Sapnap. Sap returned the smile, sitting down onto the blankets "That's dope, dude, but lets eat now,+
I'm starving" George laughs sitting down with Sapnap so they could have their lunch. After eating, the two explored a little, George telling Sapnap which flower was what, watching frogs hop along a small creek, and even spotted a mama fox with her two babies passing by. "Race+
you to the spot" Sapnap challenged on their way to the blanket "Wait! I can't-" but Sapnap had already taken off so George ran after Sapnap. They reached the blanket in seconds, George did his best to keep up. Both out of breath, went to their knees and sat on the blanket "How+
can you run faster than me!? We're literally the same height!" George asked, catching some of his breath. Sapnap only laughs and shrugged. A minute of heavy breathing was the only thing heard until finally "I brought a kite, if you wanted to maybe fly it" George offered, Sapnap+
lit up to the sound of flying a kite "Yeah! Let's do it!" Sapnap jumped up, making George question how he regained his energy already "Alright, I'll go get it" George got to his feet and walked to the car. As George set up the kite, Sapnap walked to some wildflowers and picked a+
few to put in George's hair. "Ok Sapnap!, it's ready!" George called, bringing the other back to the blanket. George stood holding onto the kite, letting it soar in the blowing breeze "George look," Sapnap began then parted his hands to let the flowers rain down on George.+
The majority of the flowers stuck and only a few falling "Hey!- oh" George soon realized they were just flowers going into his hair "Thanks, so much" George said slightly sarcastically then handed Sapnap the kite. Sapnap giggled like a kid to George response and to finally+
getting the kite. George took a couple flowers from his hair and places them on Sapnap. The two exchange some laughs then settled into a comfortable silence, that was until distant thunder could be heard. The two turnd to look, seeing dark clouds over the mountains "We should+
pack up" George warned knowing how fast rain rolls in, in England. Sapnap awed in disappointment but agreed, they brought the kite down and began to pack up. On their way back to the car though, more clouds rolled in over head and let loose. The two ran the rest of the way to+
the car as it poured heavily. Sapnap took the blankets and bags so George could get into the car faster. Once they were both in the car, they glanced at each other and began laughing, they were soaked! Water dripped from their hair and small puddles were at their feet "Oh man,+
great picnic, George" Sapnap teased earning a shove from the other "Hey the weather was supposed to be clear all day-" He peered out the window into the misty field "Guess not" He finished. Sapnap chuckled "It's alright, it was nice while it lasted" He commented smiling at+
George. George continued to look out the window "Who said it was over?" George spoke up "Wha- GEORGE!" Sapnap shouted when George exited the car and slammed the door. Sapnap dis the same trying to see what his crazy ass friend was doing "George!" He called but the rain was loud.+
George shouted something but Sapnap couldn't hear "What!?" He shouted, finally rushing over to George "I said the rain is so loud!". Sapnap stood there for a minute then burst with laughter "No shit!" He gently shoved George who shoved back which began a shoving match between+
the two. George bent down suddenly and flung mud, nails Sapnap write in the face. "You did not just do that!" Sapnap shouted and George only laughed. Sapnap wipes his face off and went to flung what he had on his hand at George but he ran. The two ran for a moment but George not+
being very fast, was soon tackled by Sapnap into the mud. They rolled around a minute, laughing and flinging mud, Sapnap shoving George's face into the mud. They threw mud and shoved one another for another few minutes until they started to shiver, indicating they should+
definitely get indoors now. Finally back in the car, George attempted to stop his chattering teeth but to no avail, Sapnap was shivering too so he started up the car and turned on the heater. They exchanged smiles and eventually drove out of the field to head home, who knew mud+
could be so cold?
