Whats your favourite semi popular architecture Twitter post? I'll start: it's either @seanw_m's pigeon destroying defensive arch photo for the cute animal lulz or @seanmaciel with his infamous "architects can't write" meltdown instigator. https://twitter.com/seanw_m/status/1385254221252079626
A lot of good ones come to mind tho... @nickhasthoughts and Kincade modernism... @kvnrogan's imposing monoliths in parks... @brianthehuman had one on the suburbs escape the confines of arch Twitter and piss off the normies (lost semi popular status at 10k likes last I checked)...
And @mcmansionhell has too many to count.
Not a single post but a special mention to @seanmaciel again for posting content about the Chateau Laurier that had Ottawa residents looking up and mocking his thesis as a recourse. Just bananas behaviour.
This whole day was essentially grown in a lab to piss people off so I don't know if it merits a mention but congrats to @freecondo I guess https://twitter.com/freecondo/status/1373313159998672898?s=19
struggling to think of individual content for folks like @evahagberg @maridapr and @AnjulieRao who produce excellent work but don't purposefully make their posts as abrasive as possible. Their work is just actually really good. This might be a limit of the platform...
(not that the folks listed before don't do excellent work--Kevin's review of Easterlings latest is something I go back to often for instance--but all the posts I mentioned are designed to...annoy?)
i think i'm in my headspace because of this https://twitter.com/zachmortice/status/1384971856311160832
Trying to gauge whether I remember individual posts that caused Discourse because they caused discourse or if I remember the ones that annoyed people because that's the metric by which I measure the quality of my own posts.
...anyhow in typical Design Fashion i'll be making a coffee table pocket from crowdsourced answers to this thread and pocketing the proceeds of what i've curated for myself
