What is with people being awful to astronomers and astrophysicists today? Exploration of Mars, the ISS, and other experiments HELP US ON EARTH.

If y'all took the time to even look at WHY they're doing what they're doing instead of saying it's just a game, you'd understand that.

The reason I chose to study astrophysics for my science requirements in college was because it brought together nearly all the science fields I'd ever been interested in. We learn so much about Earth's biology, evolution, plate tectonics, atmosphere, and more from these fields.

Instead of blasting off a tweet accusing scientists of not being serious, maybe listen to the experts in those fields and don't blame them for something that has absolutely nothing to do with their work (e.g. the Mars Rover distracts from the pandemic, like, absolutely wtf?).
