The goal of just about every social justice and/or visibility movement isn't to erase the identities that make us who we are.

It's to see them, embrace them, love them.

And, you know, until like the last decade or two, most of the people this individual just elided with the grossest possible etc were required to hide away just about every aspect of their true selves.

I DO care when you announce your beautiful, amazing self to the world.

Do it in spite of well meaning, ignorant people like this. Do it TO spite the increasingly neutered bigots who'd take it away from you, if they could.

I love your difference. You are a brilliant thread in the tapestry of humanity and we are more beautiful for every one of you.
