this might be a thread I haven’t decided yet but here we go

well let’s start with something we found terrifying: in 2017 after we talked to bambam, these girls changed their format/thumbnails to everything peggy was doing and would send people to send us messages. they very clearly had it out for us for some reason we’ve never known

one of our best friends met them and they were so rude to him. have never been nice for absolutely no reason. we don’t know them they don’t know us and they made it their goal to compete with us??? they were even tweeting about us last year...THREE years later!!!

kcon time the most uninviting event of all time and not because of the organizers but the people we had to work with!! When we were invited to be on the reaction youtubers panel in 2018 it was completely random and caught us off guard. we were SO excited and grateful.

every single person on that panel made us feel unwelcome. they acted like we weren’t as good as them because they were clearly “bigger” channels. I saw the moderator’s paper & they had questions written for everyone to answer besides us!!

BEFORE the event, we were the only ones messaging the moderator with ideas. the other person we talked to on the panel said that was the moderators job...AT the event, we went to meet the other panelists so it wouldn’t be awkward AT the panel.

we asked one of the panelists (that we knew!!) if they wanted to come meet them with us and they laughed and said no. NOW GET READY FOR THIS ONE! they told us they asked kcon to never put them on a panel with this person ever again even before this event.

a few months (a year? who knows) later, they traveled to korea together, suddenly besties there’s nothing wrong with changing opinions on someone but they actively disliked them and requested to never have to work with them again!!! it gets funnier though

we messaged one of the people we were “friends” with and asked them if they would translate korean>english for us for a video. it was a paid opportunity. they said no. then they got asked to do a video with this person FROM THE PANEL THAT THEY DIDN’T LIKE and said yes.

it included a kpop group so obviously they’d say yes but it’s just funny to see them only saying yes to the bigger opportunities and not ones that include people that have been nothing but nice to them. also they’ve called themselves famous on video. I still have the video

we realized over time this person was actually garbage so we distanced ourselves. they act high and mighty because they have nice cameras and title their videos in a certain way. they’re NOT nice in real life. there’s a lot that’s happened with this person but we choose to forget

let’s go back to the girls from above. they stalk idols and say that it’s accidental. they’ve followed them and recorded it thinking people would believe they just bumped into them in a city with millions of people. scary.

kpop youtubers think they’re kpop idols. just look at the people invited to kcon. it’s 10000x worse behind the scenes. they (mostly) all have an attitude, don’t talk or acknowledge anyone outside of their clique and give people the dirtiest looks

we literally said in a dm to another panelist that we weren’t gonna be treated lesser than because of subscriber count before we went to kcon just so they knew we weren’t gonna take shit from them because we KNEW they thought they were better than us.

i’ll add more stuff about people as I go but it’s time for some hilarious but actually wild shit.

so monsta x. we’re all familiar with them. let’s actually talk about what happened with staff!!! not a single name will be said but you can probably guess who i’m talking about!

so first, we got to meet monsta x at jingle ball in 2018. my dad was friends with the local radio host after doing an interview because he was on big brother. we disclosed this in our jingle ball video. 100% truth no need to lie my dad got us the meet and greet. we’ve said this.

so after the event, a certain staff member messages us and tells us that we could go further with our channel and we have so much potential and it was great meeting us etc etc...we were obviously nice at first!!!

THEN they offer to fly us to the jingle ball the next day and say that we could stay with them...they asked us our ages AFTER that and told us they thought we were still in high school. they thought they were inviting teenagers to their hotel.

we declined. but it didn’t end there. they texted me separately and didn’t want us texting them as a group and showed interest in me but I found it uncomfortable so I kept including peggy. they would text happy holidays etc but it soon (luckily) stopped.

didn’t end there!!! at jingle ball 2019 they interrupted our meet and greet with monsta x (with other fans) to tell the group that they knew us. legit walked in front of the picture to shake our hands? it made us extremely uncomfortable and we were like what...?

at one of the monsta x events in 2020 they told us that we could stay after all the fans had left but we didn’t hear them say this (our friend did) we just kept walking through the meet and greet because every time we saw them it genuinely creeped us out.

we were even contacted about this person by a journalist so clearly someone mentioned us behind the scenes. the journalists all know the pr person and they would be the only ones allowed to get interviews. it’s all about who you know and we found that hilarious and stupid as hell

at the youtube space, every single journalist was the pr persons friends and they got an exclusive area. also someone had a wonho sign that security purposely came over to cover. i’m assuming that’s why they never published any videos from it.

I got into the youtube space randomly. peggy got into build randomly. we bought tickets to the release party. no one got us into any of those events even though some people thought they did! (don’t have peggy’s build screen shot)

OH! one of the panelists from kcon 2018 told us monsta x sucked! then they did reaction after reaction kissing their ass acting like they loved them!!

we were left out of the kcon pamphlet in 2018 and not included in the description of the panel we were on in the official kcon app either. really made us feel welcome!

i’m not gonna add my kpop music opinions because that’s just personal preference and it doesn’t actually matter!!!

we were also on this panel but you never would’ve known since we were never included lol.

99.99999% of the kpop reactors we’ve met are rude and entitled. just know that when you watch them.

money on youtube: nonexistent. it took us from march 1st, 2020-april 15th, 2021 to make $100. unless people do brand deals, work with apps, cheat the system and cut their videos a certain way etc to make money (they do), you make no money at all.

I don’t want anything to do with any of the people we were once connected with through youtube. they treated us like shit. we had so many original ideas and fun plans that we were proud of only to feel like everything we did was subpar. they should feel ashamed to be honest.
