1/The most important thing I did today. A thread, with permission and encouragement from an amazing mom:
Well visit with an awesome young man. Complicated medical history, very high risk for a poor outcome from #COVID19.
I asked mom if she'd gotten #COVID19Vaccine.
She said no.

2/ I asked if we could talk about the vaccine. So we talked. She'd received some really bad and misleading information. I answered her questions. We talked some more. And we made her vaccine appointment together.
Found a same day appointment.

3/ I called to check on her after her vaccine appointment. The excitement in her voice was palpable. But mixed with disappointment because many of the pharmacy staff had declined the vaccine.

4/ She coined a new hashtag, #fearfultofearless. And she plans to use it along with her voice to help others navigate from fearful to fearless. And to help us put the pandemic behind us.

5/ Most importantly, she is now safer. And so is her son.
And that's the most important thing I did today. #fearfultofearless #COVID19Vaccine
