In my opinion Consumer Reports crossed the line today by showcasing their driverless hack of Tesla Autopilot and then placing the blame and responsibility on Tesla.

@elonmusk @CRcarsJake @martinviecha
Tesla’s responsibility is to keep drivers safe from unintentional accidents, and this they do very well. Tesla is NOT responsible for those intentionally trying to play stupid death games with their cars.
What other death games should CR try? Jumping out of the window while driving? Driving with a blindfold? Putting a rock on the accelerator?
The reality is Tesla is fanatical about driving safety and they have and will do everything they can to try to make the safest driving experience possible.

But it’s unreasonable to hold Tesla responsible for illegal acts of stupidity.
