okay so I have decided that I no longer identify as a christian. and ya know what? God is completely okay with that.

& the LIBERATING and WONDERFUL and EMPOWERING Love of Christ is still so so so good to me. it's that same Love that frees us from labels that feel abusive to us.

God bless my therapist for helping me finally let go of that label. I feel so much relief. I feel free to experience God in a way that isn't bound by the pain and abuse I've suffered at the hands of christians and the church.

I don't expect this to make a ton of sense to everyone, but as strange as it sounds, this decision makes me feel like I can finally breathe again.
