After the interview we asked @ScottishLabour to back up this claim.

They were not able to point us to any statements from Anas Sarwar to that effect from March and April 2020. https://twitter.com/channel4news/status/1385310901914505216
@ScottishLabour did share with us April 2020 remarks on this subject from, Monica Lennon, the Scottish Labour health spokesperson at the time.
@ScottishLabour said that @AnasSarwar spoke on May 12 saying ‘there should be no one in care homes unless they have tested negative.’

But that was three weeks after @scotgov announced patients should test negative twice before being discharged into care homes on April 21.
I also asked @AnasSarwar about Labour’s much-hyped Constitutional Commission, his views on Trident and Scottish Labour’s relations with the UK party. Keep reading..
Me: ‘Keir Starmer called this Constitutional Commission the boldest project Labour has embarked on for a generation. And almost half a year has passed and you seem to be telling me nothing much has actually happened?’

@AnasSarwar: ‘There are things happening.’
I asked @AnasSarwar if UK Labour had put @ScottishLabour in their place over Trident?
