Today the leader of the Greens appears to have told the BBC women like me who think #sexmatters are like racists, and Labour was reported to have a candidate who believes we are like the KKK. The leader of the Greens may be a government minister in a few weeks. Someone who thinks that any woman arguing for the importance of sex in certain contexts can only do so from a position of hatred and bigotry, and is probably funded by US far right fundamental Christians.

Extraordinary.

We appear to be reaching the astonishing point where any woman who ever thinks that sex matters in any context at all might be well-advised to check all her candidates think she has the right just to argue that point without being called a bigot, quasi-racist etc. Good grief.
