i’m really about to just make a thread of pictures revolving around the infinite possibilities of what olivia benson’s reaction will be to hearing elliot stabler tell her he loves her aka the three words that i know will effectively kill all of us and her
more options:
will she look as shocked as she is when she sees him for the first time in a decade??
or will she look as caught off guard as she does when he falls into her arms for the first time in ten years...
or when she just holds onto him...
.... or when it felt just right?? when she realizes how much she’s missed him and swore to be there for him no matter what?
will it be like the conflict when he asks her to trust him for the first time since he’s left her??
when she starts getting the hint of the apology she deserves from him? when she thinks about that time she held his son before he did? when she had to look away bc of the pain she saw in his face? or when she couldn’t believe that he was really standing there in front of her?
why do i feel like it’s gonna be like this after the shock because she’s gonna know what he means by responding to “tell us what you need” with “i love you” and she’s gonna recognize that he’s at his breaking point. he’s drowning and lost and all he knows is he needs her.
