tw; eating disorder

a couple months ago i tried going vegetarian and it did NOT work for me. i thought i was in a good place in my recovery, but it turned into me downloading MFP again, tracking calories, signing up for Noom, and going back to old ED behaviors. (1/2)
it was NOT good for me. i spiraled into a horrible place so fast I barely recognized what was happening. i went right back to that weight loss mentality.

it’s great if you want to go vegan/vegetarian but please don’t do so at the expense of your own healing + recovery. 💛 (2/2)
there are other ways to consume less animal products beyond food. you can also just try going one day a week, or even just one meal without eating animal products. it doesnt have to be all or none. you got to put yourself first, though.
