Hank is left unemployed & shocked

After a few months of aimlessly mowing his lawn and growing out a beard, Hanks family talks him into taking a job at Mega-Lo Mart.

The hills settle into a routine for the next few years just scraping by. Bobby, Kahn Jr & Joseph Graduate from HS. Dale throws Joseph a giant party to celebrate. He gives him a 23 & me as a graduation present. Joseph learns about his true parentage

Dale files for divorce from Nancy. Joseph spurns both Nancy and Dale and goes to live with John Redcorn on his reservation/land. Nancy takes a job in Houston. Dale can’t afford to live in his house anymore and it’s foreclosed on.

Dale moves in with Bill.

John Redcorn has continued to file lawsuits and expand his reservation, including a modest apartment complex. All of the women look like Nancy, all the kids look like John Redcorn and Joseph.

Bill is honorable discharged from the military after they army orders a surplus of flowbee bayonets to handle cutting recruits hair.

Him and dale sit around watching conspiracy theories and rom com’s most days.

The neighborhood slowly starts to be inhabited by more of the characters of color (Enrique, etc). Hank still takes pride in the community, bringing Rainey Street together over bbq and beers regularly.

Peggy starts to take a firmer hold of the Hill’s finances, investing heavily in Toys R Us, Blockbuster, Bennigans, & Sears.

She loses all their money.

Kahn Jr and Bobby move to Austin for college. They return home for the holidays with a female friend from school, and the conservative families are floored when they learn the trio is a thrupple. Bobby is forced to drop out of college bc of the families finances

He stays in Austin doing comedy and mooching off of Kahn Jr and their partner.

Lucky & Luanne’s baby gracie is super smart from an early age. Lucky suffers an actual back injury during one of his slip & fall gigs, and is prescribed opioids to deal with his lingering pain. He starts popping pills & is lost to the opioid crisis

Luanne starts to suffer from depression and uses luckys medicine to make herself feel better. She also passes away, leaving Peggy & Hank to raise baby Gracie from an early age.

So instead of raising a dumb and funny 13 year old King of the Hill, Peggy and Hank face a Queen of the Hill that’s markedly smarter than them in every way who’s raising their intelligence thru every mis-step they take in modern parenting
