i love how baru buka steakhouse, tapi ide marketing pertama yang tercetus adalah “yuk jual cheesesteak seharga 100$”.
“Wein didn’t create just another cheesesteak, he created a conversation piece.”

Damn right he did

this book is lowkey very fun and easy to get through yall...
Soooo this book proposed the 6 STEPPS (😁) why things are talked, shared, and imitated thus created buzz.

Yang pertama, (S)ocial currency. Orang naturally suka kalau dinilai positive dan ninggalin kesan ke orang lain. Based from this, the way we can craft a good marketing is;

• Orang itu suka a fun game, achieving things, and are competitive.

Burberry bikin website khusus so that people can post pictures of them wearing the brand, yang bagus nanti direpost. Orang jadi berlomba-lomba create the best pictures padahal mah dibayar juga kaga 😫
• Buat orang merasa seperti insider thru Exclusivity & Scarcity.

🤔 Orang yang udah tau jadi merasa exclusive dengan these little secrets they know😋
I was gonna continue this thread but the author gave the summary at the end of the epilogue so I guess I'm just gonna post it here.
I was debating whether to give this book a 3 or 4 stars.. but the more i sit down and think, this book is told in an entertaining way even though some of the ideas are pretty obvious (or is that my sotoy self talking??? lol)
So yeah ended up giving it 4 stars
