Here's a recent video of a police officer making a traffic stop, speaking respectfully to the driver, only to be murdered and left to die on the highway. This is an ultra violent country in so many ways and policing is one of the most dangerous professions
Over 60 police officers were intentionally murdered last year during duty. There's easy media career success in stigmatizing all policing, but little interest in understanding the nuances, supporting cop reform but also acknowledging the danger and stress involved in policing.
