A lot of people think all I do is just click a button & a pretty picture comes out.
What you donโt see?
The thousands of miles I put on my car & the hundreds of hours spent driving to & from a location.
Almost every picture in my portfolio was taken an hour+ from my house.

I spend 3-6 hours driving every weekend I go shooting.
That doesnโt include gas or maintenance or the time and effort spent hiking miles into the forest and through creeks.
Just driving.
My camera hasnโt even left its bag yet.
Now itโs finally time to shoot...

Time to start scouting the location and finding the best compositions. More time.
Time to start focus stacking and shooting multiple exposures.

This doesnโt include the thousands of dollars worth of gear Iโve had to invest in and upgrade every couple years.

Iโm finally home, drinking chocolate milk, and editing pictures.
Thatโs, again, more time out of my life spent creating these pieces.
Oh, but now I have to promote my work and build up our community.

I put a LOT into this.
The amount of time I invest into this is worth something.
You might see a price of $2500 on my art and think itโs absurd but honestly itโs a small chunk of change for how much Iโve put into my passion.

This isnโt like buying a print which is essentially an infinite edition of my work.
Youโre paying for a SINGLE digital edition that cannot be duplicated again.
Youโre putting sushi on my table, gas in my tank, and helping me maintain my car so I can KEEP creating.

Iโm here to share my work & that of others to prove that photography has a place in this space and to build a future for us as artists.
