I think it is faaaantastic that you want to create a welcoming, positive space for your community.

However.

Ya can't do that to the exclusion of allowing constructive feedback that may be unpleasant to hear.

Of course, there's a difference between being negative and bringing up something difficult that many fans don't necessarily understand. And it's also true it's really hard to admit that even though you're doing your best, you may still be getting it wrong.

But "positivity" isn't about being happy all the time or putting on a sunny face. La la la, we're all friends here and have nothing but love for each other!

Love, actual love, is saying "you're screwing up, but I want you to succeed, and I'm here to help."
