Atlanta Fever Magazine (circa 2004) Can you guess which model is me?

This is a year before I had Sean B. Before Hurricane Katrina changed my life. When I had to drive from Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Atlanta for shoots and then travel to Miami for videos. I’VE LIVED A GOOD LIFE YOU HEAR ME

I started officially writing for this magazine and when the co-publisher met me in person he asked me to shoot with him & a few models the next day. My modeling career started because of that moment. I took pics before & did pageants but this is what took off

I did my own hair and makeup & I was terrible at it!!! But this photo booked me so many jobs immediately and I didn’t understand what the hell I was doing. I wanted to write but modeling took me places. So I went. I wrote along the way. I’ve been officially doing this since 2004

Helped launch another magazine and my writing career took off along with my modeling career. “Oh you can write too?” Or “Oh you model too? FOR REAL” was all I kept hearing and I showed up just as plain Jane

Can’t wait to share this with my sons later today after they get out of school. I know they’re gonna say something smart LMAOOOOOO
