1) We live at a time where money has become made of math. This means money can be anything. I’ve been working the last month to make money art. Thread

2) Because “money” is now stored in cryptographic keys - and crypto keys are nothing more than strings of letters and numbers - we can take “money” and map, hash, or permutate it into anything digital.
Next: an example of 6DIG coin.
Next: an example of 6DIG coin.
3) 6DIG has six digits in its private key and six digits in its public key. On the web, all colors are represented in six digit keys. So we could take any 6DIG private key “hide” it in art by drawing a digital painting with that hex color in it.
4) At that point, a new cipher is created — knowing which objects and how they’ve been permutated in the art. Knowing the story of the art may be the key if the digital copy is destroyed but reverse engineering is possible in that particular form of art.

5) Places to use these codes creatively: animation, rgb, hsl, sfx vfx, midi, osc, javascript, 3d prints, custom manufacturing, and — functionally infinite applications. Morse code? My Moog synthesizer will one day play money, I promise you.

6) Print a t-shirt with your public key not just slapped on a QR code screen print, but actually stitched into the fabric. Tattoos. In theory, genetic code could be written from crypto keys?
7) I talked with @c0inwars collaborator Colin Arndt about trying to write a short film where the order of the words is a cipher for a private key.
8) All of this adds up to an important inflection point: we used to live we live in a time where money was mimetically defined by institutions, but now money itself can be made into anything.
9) So, fellow artists and creatives, let’s make money art. I believe there will be profound impact on how humans perceive money when we create wonderful products, performances that give a sense of awe, and discover new art forms with money itself.
10) Furthermore, so many creatives have had a terrible relationship with money. It doesn’t have to be that way, now. It’s another tool for our expression.
11) Artists learning to love money in this creative way will do good for how we all perceive money -- I deeply believe this and I& #39;m placing big best on it.
