Affirmations are key to many spiritual & creative practices - they also have been found to be HIGHLY EFFECTIVE in clinical psychology experiments!

Affirmations help us be less defensive and more objective, particularly when talking about perceptions of racism, as this 2006 study showed.
Using affirmations also helps all of us manage chronic stress better. Often when we’re in crisis/survival mode, we cannot be creative. Those are also times when we NEED IT THE MOST. Affirmations help us get there.
