Transparency follow ups: 1. I applied to >10 other fellowships and awards this year and was rejected from all of them. The shadow CV grew a lot in the past six months.
2. I was only able to accept this fellowship due to the generous support of my home institution. Since my spouse works and can’t come with me, the cost of setting up a second household for a year would have been a major financial impact. Residential fellowships are still...
