reality: 2 essays due next week, read a 38-page essay, analyse a newspaper article

expectations: cool poems that are deep

reality: poems about farming, one even being about how to make butter

expectations: more creative essay titles

reality: wtf the essay titles are.

expectations: teachers being decent

reality: teachers being full of themselves cause they have a dr.
[bonus points if they make u repeat every time u stutter]

expectations: teachers teaching u how to analyse better

reality: teacher making u analyse a passage in five minutes and yelling at u at any mistake u make

expectations: english language is more or so similar to english language at olevel

reality: you have to analyse newspaper articles and advertisements

expectations: you discuss a theme together then you're required to write an essay about it

reality: the alla other way around
