0/ 5 step process to come up with a brand name for your newsletter, blog, or podcast👇
1/ Coming up with a brand name is hard.

The right name can have a significant effect on your success.

The wrong name can dig you in a hole and make it difficult for you to build an audience.

If you’re in this position - I feel you.
2/ I can’t tell you how many times I have struggled to come up with a name for a new venture.

It can be REALLY frustrating!

Luckily, I have spoken with 100s of creators and entrepreneurs about how they come up with their brand name.

Here are 5 steps to create a brand name âś‹
3/ Step #1: What is your brand?

Your brand is who you are.

It is what people think when they hear your name or business.

• What does your brand do?
• What does your brand believe in?
• What adjectives describe your brand?
• What values does your brand evoke?
4/ Step #2: Who is your brand?

• Who is the brand targeting? - Who is your audience? How old are they? Where do they live? What do they do?

• Who are the people behind the brand? - Who are you? What do you enjoy doing? What is your voice?
5/ Step #3: Brainstorm

Review your prior answers - now start writing.

Write anything that comes to mind.

Nobody’s judging you. Get it all out.

After you have a page full of ideas, narrow it down to your 3 favorites.
5/ Step #4: Feedback

Ask your friends what they think.

Ask your parents.

Ask your target audience!

What name resonates with them?
6/ Step #5: Just choose

Choose something and move on.

It’s easy to get caught up in the details and keep running in circles.

You followed the steps.

You did your homework.

Now choose something and get going!
7/ Coming up with a brand name is difficult.

You just want that PERFECT name!

Odds are, the stars aren’t going to align and the perfect name is not going to ~magically~ come to you.

Define your brand, brainstorm. feedback, and choose.
