Weird thing in cycling where we hear a rider carried on racing having broken several bones in a crash mid-race & instead of saying "well that& #39;s mad/dangerous/what about their welfare?" we go "wow, they just became one of my favourite riders, hard as nails, impressive" https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🤯" title="Explodierender Kopf" aria-label="Emoji: Explodierender Kopf">
Like, riding on with multiple injuries is not cause for praise/celebration, or the precedent we should be setting for young people coming into this sport.

We need to start creating an environment where riders know to stop if they& #39;re that badly injured.
Adding this tweet to the thread. "The guy& #39;s so tough."

Either he wasn& #39;t as injured as he was letting on, or its a reckless decision by him & the team to allow him to play on.

That& #39;s not "tough". Can we stop making people think they& #39;re not "tough" if they go off injured?
Just gonna leave these on this thread too.

Nothing brave about this.
