The universe is once again preventing me from buying crypto. This may mean a crash is coming. Some of you may remember this on Quora a few years back. A quick timeline:

2013: Error setting up MtGox, gave up. A month later they disappeared, taking everyone’s crypto with them.

2017: Tried @Coinbase but ID verify wasn’t working. Bitcoin peaked and crashed two weeks later.

2020: Tried @Binance, again had ID verification issues. Said license was expired. It wasn’t. Couldn’t talk to anyone. Gave up.

2021: Set up a @Robinhood account. Linked bank, all seemed fine, initial $100 deposit went through. Tried to deposit $5k from same account. Got a notice transfer was reversed this morning. I didn’t reverse it. Funds are more than sufficient and I see no withdrawal attempt.

So once again an obstacle that makes no sense has prevented me from buying Crypto.

Historically when the universe has denied me crypto, it preceded a big crash. Thought to ponder...
