โ€ขthis thread is about only the legend that goes with the mannequin only. A more detailed fact thread will be made shortlyโ€ข
A woman dies tragically on her wedding day when she is bitten by a black widow spider. The news of this was all over the town. Suddenly one day in 1930 a mannequin appeared in the window of Pascuala Esparza's salon in mexico (owned by the brides mother)
people couldn't help but notice the similarities between the bride and this very realistic mannequin.
some people in the town put two and two together and assumed the grieving mother must have put the embalmed corpse of her daughter on display in the shop window. The mother denied it but people didn't believe her. It was too late, the rumour was already seen as fact by many.
It's widely believed that one day the brides true love will come to her, magically bring her to life and then take her away. It's also believed that at night she walk around the store by herself.
