This stupid take is really interesting for a few reasons, but I love how medieval it is! The idea that a lack of sex influences women's behavior come sout in classical and medieval texts where they are sure women need to orgasm to release pent up humors which cloud the brain.

Moreover a medieval thing is this focus on dildos. The idea here is that all of women's sexuality is focused on the penis, actually. So even if women are having sex with themselves they need some kind of penis stand in because the *only* kind of sex is PIV.

So medieval men when writing about women having sex with themselves will talk about them using dildos, or imagining dicks while they do it. Even with a cis man absent, the entire procedure still focuses on a cis man. Same with this dude.
