and then they keep posting the body cam image of her lunging at someone. first of all, the police officer could have done SO MANY OTHER THINGS to subdue her. THEY ARE TRAINED IN DE-ESCALATION AND SUB-DUAL TACTICS. it is their FUCKING job to take people into custody, not (2/?)
kill them! they have NO RIGHT to kill anyone! any time a cop kills someone on duty, the death has to be inquired into, to justify or refute that the death was lawful and appropriate for the situation at hand. this is NOT one of those situations. EVEN IF she was seen lunging (3/?)
at another person with a knife, they could have used their tasers, they could have THREATENED to shoot if she continued, and the MOST they should have done, is shot her ONCE in a non-fatal area (THEY ARE TRAINED TO KNOW THESE AREAS). this police officer shot her 4 TIMES. (4/?)

Adam Toledo was my cousin’s age (who is in the US right now). Ma’Khia Bryant was a bit older than my sibling. Dante Wright was a few months older than me, and i’m also mixed as well. these killings are personal to me. (9/?)
