Ma’Khia Bryant was just 16 years-old.

But she was also in the middle of attacking someone with a knife, potentially killing them.

The officer came on the scene in the same moment & stopped another person being killed.

I honestly don’t see what else he could have done?

And this is the problem we’re faced with, where officers may decide it’s best to let violence like this ensue in case they’re accused of being racist.

But then people would also complain their communities are not being protected. It can’t be both!

And I think some of the cases I’ve come across in the US have been horrific, I’m not denying that, eg Tamir Rice, Ahmad Arbery (which really emotionally effected me if I’m being honest) but this case is not one of incorrect policing.
