For the scene where Patient No. 5 and his wife are getting treatment for their kid, they’re holding him together and Xiao Zhan looks a lot like a dad

Then when the doctor said there’s no cure, the way he knelt and begged with a crying tone in his voice was heartbreaking

Xiao Zhan’s charm is infectious when he says his lines, he adds little touches that are super cute! He carried 80% of the funny parts in the show.

The scene where he went to eat with his future wife, he told her to close her eyes then pretended to be an old man like her dad

His line delivery improved so much
Powerful emotions and when he’s gently talking to his wife and kids and the funny scenes are all great, especially his hoarse crying
He’s so immersed, even when just walking his legs move differently depending on the part in the story

He has these little actions like using his hand to touch the girl’s head
His powerful emotional scenes are amazing, coupled with him shouting the lines.
You can clearly see his eyelashes flutter and the bump of his knuckles

Audience interviews during intermission:

Everyone was great, especially Xiao Zhan’s lines improved a lot, very powerful
Had a lot of expectations after learning about Xiao Zhan, and the show was great

Xiao Zhan handles the details really well, you can clearly tell the difference when he’s “sick” and when he isn’t.
He doesn’t need any filters. His features are clear, his skin is smooth and elastic, he’s really thin but his skin isn’t dry at all, and he’s super handsome.

when he kissed the girl xfx couldn’t hold it in and there was just this loud muffled noise

As a non fan, his performance is really good, much better than expected. I had my doubts (...) but even if I had to diss this performance, I would hold firm to my view, because his performance wasn’t my just “so-so”, it was “very good.”

Xiao Zhan is so tall, takes the longest strides, but still looks cute when walking.
For the role, his shoulders appear uneven, he’s slightly hunched over. His voice is rich with emotion, he doesn’t seem nervous at all.
People worry, but he exceeds full points each time.

When he couldn’t find his wife, he seemed like a middle aged man beaten down by life. He looked, he searched, there was sadness and anxiety and confusion in his voice that was reminiscent of Zhan Xian.

When he first appeared, he was bright, cute and cool, then his posture changed when he got sick, he was hunched over, voice was weak, he would sniffle, and be easily angry.
When eating with his wife, there was no food but his acting made it seem like he was really eating.

During the kiss scene, there was this collective intake of breath and some audiences were hitting their own thighs
In the first half when Patient No. 5 was searching for his wife, Xiao Zhan cried

During intermission, there was thunderous applause, it was incredible.
His emotional scenes are so powerful and he’s able to reel it back in right away. He seems to have changed his vocalization, has more of a chest voice now. “I’m not worthy of commenting on him, really.”

It was very impactful, Xiao Zhan’s acting was amazing. His crying tone when he was looking for his wife almost made me cry with him.
