The state of my Marvel Chronology read thru:
Currently I& #39;m reading issues cover dated November of 2000. Avengers is still solid but the Captain America and Iron Man books went off the rails a bit. Well, Iron Man did a lot. That last arc with Yinsen being a religious icon...

...yeesh. I& #39;m still enjoying Dan Jurgens& #39; Thor. This is my first time reading the Garth Ennis run of Punisher. Loving that. The Sentry was just introduced. I still remember the gimmick behind his character. Marvel Knights is ok. Same with Daredevil. We& #39;re just on the cusp of...
...the Bendis run. I remember enjoying that quite a bit. Speaking of Bendis, Ultimate Spider-Man just started and it& #39;s as good as I remember. That counter balances the not so good state of Amazing Spider-Man. (Though Peter Parker Spider-Man is really great!) Spider-Woman is..
..absolutely terrible. Spider-Girl is the only MC2 title left at this point, I& #39;m sad to say. I liked those books a whole lot. Thunderbolts has become a chore to get through, as was the Christopher Priest run on Deadpool. However, his Black Panther is running on all cylinders..
...at this stage. Captain Marvel is...not Peter David& #39;s best, but it& #39;s still enjoyable. Too bad he wasn& #39;t still on Hulk, because that book took a nose dive after he left. Claremont just left Fantastic Four, which is good because it was another one that I would hold off..
..on reading because of how much I wasn& #39;t enjoying it. As far as the Mutant corner, it& #39;s not so great at this time. Bishop is a wonderful book. I& #39;m in the middle of Robert Weinberg& #39;s run of Cable, which I& #39;ve always cherished. Gambit...well, lets just say I& #39;m skimming through it..
..at this point. The Counter X books, Generation X, X-Force, and X-Man, are hit and miss. Gen X just never had a good run after those initial fifteen issues or so. X-Force and X-Man are not bad, just forgettable. Mutant X is still terrible. Wolverine is a bore. X-Men the..
..Hidden Years is at the point of the series where it just kind of..happens. I don& #39;t know how to describe it, but it& #39;s gone from a curiosity to plain old dull. Uncanny and X-Men are in the middle of the second Claremont run. I& #39;m actually enjoying them a lot more this time...
..around. That& #39;s not to say they are good. They& #39;re deeply flawed books. I& #39;m just enjoying it more than I have the previous times I read it. X-Men Black Sun is a mess, too, but I get a kick out of it. Lastly, Universe X has just begun around this time. I remember not liking..
