Today marks one month since I decided to get my shit together and lose the lockdown pounds - not saying anyone else has to do this, the decision was completely off my own back and is no reflection on anyone of any size. You are all beautiful.
The most surprising thing about this journey has not been the weight loss but the new found passion for moving my body, even if it's just a seaside dog walk or watching YouTube videos on the exercise bike.
Forecast is beautiful today
and I'm actually looking forward to going outside with my audiobook for a jog
Movement doesn't have to be punishing, just find what you enjoy (bike, swim, yoga, walk) and do it however you want.

It's taken me over ten years to get over the the trauma of school PE, where I was always last in a race & always hid behind the loos on sports days. Now I actually enjoy exercise because it doesn't matter if I'm "good" at it.
The moral of the story is to just move your body in whatever way the feels good for you (as long as you don't hurt yourself ha)
