~Midnight Memories~
1. Right Now: Written by both L and H
This is around the time "home" started being defined less as a physical place and more as a person for them. They knew that they physically wouldn't be home for a while but they were ok bc they had each other as their home
2. Through the Dark: Written by Louis
This one is more subtle but he's clearly saying that he no matter what, he's always going to be there by Harry's side and theyll always work things out together, as a TEAM bc theyre each other's homes: 2 parts of a whole. "WE will find a way"
And what did Harry say about what he believes is the best, most exciting part of a relationship?
~Four~
3. Ready to Run: Written by Louis
This is another subtle one but he's saying that no matter where they are, he always feels at home, like he belongs, as long as he's there with Harry.
4. Where Do Broken Hearts Go: Written by Harry
This one makes the distinction between a house and a home. His home is the relationship, that's the foundation. The house is just everything you build on that foundation.
5. Fireproof: Written by Louis
It's another subtle one but he's saying that only they will ever truly understand each other and love each other the way they deserve. They fit like puzzle pieces
6. Stockholm Syndrome: Written by Harry
obv this song overall isn't about Louis but this one line was interesting bc it matches almost perfectly with the lyrics of "Home." Harry said he used the light to guide him home and in "home", Louis says that he would be the light +
+ Harry says that he doesn't feel alone as long as they're together and Louis says the same thing: that Harry will never feel like he's alone because he's always there with him
7. Perfect: Written by both L and H
They're saying that even though they're not perfect individually, they are perfect for each other. Together, they fit perfectly, like puzzle pieces, and together, they're perfect.
8. End of the Day: Written by Louis
we already know this song is queer af but even apart from that, he's saying that when push comes to shove, all he needs and wants is Harry because he's his home: the most important part of his life
9. If I Could Fly: Written By Harry
The biggest one after "Home" itself. Harry bears his entire heart to Louis and basically says that he's ready to give up absolutely everything for him even though louis would never ask that of him. Louis is his Home
10. Home: Written by Louis
I could make whole separate thread analyzing this song. Louis accepts everything Harry is begging for in iicf. He promises to be the light that guides harry and to make sure he's always there as his home, and he recognizes that harry is HIS home too
11. What a Feeling: Written by Louis
All he needs to to hold and be held by Harry bc that's where he's at home

12. Meet Me In the Hallway
The entire song paints a picture of an empty house. It calls back to the difference between the house and a home. Louis is his home and without him, the house is just a house: empty and lonely
13. Two Ghosts
Fridge light can be referring to the kitchen of a house, supposedly dark and lonely. It plays into the ghostly feel of the song because the two of them were just floating as shells of themselves unlike the vibrancy of a happy home (like at Princess Park)
14. Sweet Creature
This song is the epitome of domestic Larry in my opinion. Wherever he goes, as long as Louis's there, he's at home because Louis IS his home. And ofc "2 hearts in one home": the og "princess park" line that can't be debunked
15. Only Angel
I know there's a couple different interpretations of this song and I'm not saying it's 100% about louis but he does the same thing here as mmith with the imagery of the bedroom door, floors, hallways, etc so I thought I'd include it
~Fine Line~
16. Golden
Parallels to Home with Louis being the light that guides him. Now he's saying that the light is too bright for him as if the love that he feels with louis is just that overwhelming
17. Adore You
Another domestic, adorable song about the feeling of just wanting to adore that person who means the world to you. [Also the tacos in the music video could be a reference to harry saying that tacos were a "household favorite" at Princess Park]
18. Sunflower Vol. 6
Domestic bop number 3 from Mr. Styles. Everything about this song screams falling in love and that person being everything to you: your home, your sunshine, your sunflower
19. Canyon Moon
This is a big one. Hes going back to Louis, back to his home, his happiness, his sunshine and he's EXCITED. Hes repeating it over and over like a kid on a road trip asking "are we there yet" bc he cant wait to be home
[also "sky never looked so blue" is in reference to Louis's eyes you cant change my mind]
~Walls~
20. We Made It
This song calls back to the idea of being in such a stable, loving, long term relationship that the 2 just become partners in every way: a TEAM. He says "Never coming down with your hand in mine" bc he knows that Harry will always be by his side.
+ This is probably also a big reason why Louis connects with his fans this way as well. We're a team bc that's the kind of relationship that he is in so the same mentality branches into other areas of his life as well
21. Too Young
I just want to know what happened in the kitchen between these two tbh
22. Walls
He already described the kind of relationship where you're each others' half, where you complete the other, a team of sorts. That's why when that is taken away, it hits so much harder that you're alone because the person that was your other half isn't there anymore
^ Also very obvious parallels to Falling since I didn't include Falling separately
23. Always You
The entire song is about searching everywhere for the same happiness he has when hes with harry, but he can never find it because it was never about WHERE he was: it was about WHO he was with. No matter where he goes, Harry is his home and he's happiest with him
24. Fearless
Another subtle one but imo, Louis is describing the things that people believe will bring them happiness (material things) and wishes to be like children who based their happiness on their relationships and more important things than big houses or expensive cars
25. Habit
And ofc, the epitome of Louis being loud, Princess Park: the place where 2 young, naïve, boys fell in love and found their home in each other. They're come so far since then but no matter what, H is Louis's addiction: someone he can never lose bc it's so vital to him
I may have missed a couple but I'm tired. In conclusion, Louis and Harry are each other's homes, a team, a partnership, soulmates, 2 pieces of a puzzle. They're everything to each other, and they've been telling us so through their music since 2013.
