Hi @NicoelStark - we& #39;re in the same Clubhouse room and you said you& #39;re interested in women artists and underrepresented people in Blockchain. I& #39;m going to start a thread!
Sculptor @beansofjohn makes surreal work that makes me laugh out loud in a good and artistic way.
Singaporean illustrator @LaughAndBelly led a fundraiser for prevention of violence against Asian women and she also launched her genesis NFTs.
Have you met @adultarts - she& #39;s been shadowbanned in almost every platform and we love her for it because she always bounces back and brings people up.
The inventor of the coochie coin @em_bergie is a resin artist who is breaking grounds in crypto art.
I collected @jnettemm immediately after I sold my first work and finally had some ETH to spend. She& #39;s an amazing artist.
This is @NylaCollection - she& #39;s 12 years old and she& #39;s an accomplished NFT artist. She also brings more people into the space!
There is also a gaining movement in more eco-friendly NFTs. And @zaidivecha just launched her work on the Tezos blockchain. She can tell you more!
Indigenous artist @ameliawb is already known for her stupid hack-a-thon. She& #39;s entered the NFT space with her sound and vision pieces!
I love @chussain pieces - I am waiting to sell more art so I can collect her!
This is @NFT_ish - she had her daughter& #39;s photo memefied. She made an NFT about it! She& #39;s badass.
The work by @sarah_script is unbelievable on paper, and now she& #39;s going to the digital space with her mosaic pieces.
And then there& #39;s @RoesseinArt who not only does beautiful calligraphy but also inspires me by empowering other women in the field.
I want to go on, but there are so many more. @MelanieNFT has been keeping track better than I have.
Women are an integral part of the NFT space and Crypto history. But many are not highlighted, such as @stellabelle who introduced me to @coin_artist
Please reach out to any of the women above, and if anyone else wants to add their name or someone else& #39;s name, please chime in! XO -foodmasku
I’m adding @digitbeg who I didn’t mention because I didn’t know her Twitter handle. She is a performance artist and has been very vocal about inclusivity and has also helped organize fundraisers for people suffering from the genocide in Tigray.
And @113kw who has been an important member of the NFT community. She is bringing her filmmaking background to the NFT sphere. Her mother is also an artist!
I really appreciate @HawkwardArt not just for her art but also for bringing up ableism in tech. I’m a disabled artist. I feel uncomfortable bringing it up. I’m grateful for people who are brave enough to do so.
