Did anyone else’s high school do a day long anti drinking thing that involved people “dying” in the classroom and coming back as ghosts, a staged wreck outside the school with EMT/police/etc, and a mandatory movie about where students played themselves getting into that wreck?
This feels like it was maybe just a Texas thing but I’m not sure. I think it was called Shattered Dreams? Parents, like, showed up the high school to (pretend?) cry about their kids (pretend) dying in a car wreck. They even roped the hospital helicopter into it.
I am not alone. (Lol I had forgotten about White Settlement)
Good news. Someone uploaded the video of Shattered Dreams my high school did in 2003. Before my time l, but it’s full of people I recognize. This is too long and legit insane but I implore you to watch until you hear what soundtracks the wreck. Amazing.
Twin Peaks is so fucking good, dude
