The biggest takeaway I got from the #Bitcoin vs #gold debate was that @Frank_Giustra undervalues the human capacity for change. He regularly referred to @michael_saylor as some kind of snake oil salesman who is seeking an impossible utopia.

The truth about war and human nature
isn't lost on me, I've been to war for the US. It's ugly and it's real.

But that doesn't negate the truth, this is the most peaceful time in our existence. There is less war, less genocide, less murder, less disease, and famine.

It's also a relatively new phenomena the
existence of a global network for communication. The advent of the internet has vastly improved the level of interconnectedness we experience as a species.

To state that an optimistic viewpoint like Mr. Saylors can't be a potential, because history shows otherwise completely
discounts all of the progress we have already made.

It may seem like we're a cult to you Mr. Giustra, but our behavior is rooted in the belief that we can and we will continue to evolve and prosper, and that we will continue to move away from war and unnecessary feuding.
our mottos like Have Fun Staying Poor aren't intellectually lazy, you've just misconstrued their meaning. When we say have fun staying poor, we're referring to the poor attitude you possess about the potential for future prosperity and unity.

The biggest takeaway I get from
the debate is that we still have a long way to go. But that is worth it. Too many people still believe that better isn't attainable, and #Bitcoiners intend to prove all the doubters wrong. We will #hodl until the world unites around our core principles.

We will continue to
stand up for individual freedoms, we will continue to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. We will continue to believe the better is still possible, and we will continue to work to make that our reality.
