P.S. This slowing in the US is intriguing (and concerning). So a couple quick follow ups below: https://twitter.com/trevortombe/status/1385032763032567809">https://twitter.com/trevortom...
First, is it real or did Trevor screw up the calculation? It& #39;s real, pace appears to be slowing recently https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/covid-19-vaccine-doses.html">https://www.nytimes.com/interacti... and the NYT projection for reaching 75% is the same as above.
So what& #39;s going on? I& #39;m not sure, but others have recently noted that vaccine hesitancy is going to bite very very soon. Here& #39;s excellent analysis on that: https://www.kff.org/policy-watch/supply-vs-demand-when-will-the-scales-tip-on-covid-19-vaccination-in-the-u-s/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter_axiosvitals&stream=top">https://www.kff.org/policy-wa...
Canada has a lower number responding that they won& #39;t get the vaccine. Here& #39;s the latest from @OurWorldInData at #attitudes-to-covid-19-vaccinations">https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations #attitudes-to-covid-19-vaccinations">https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vac...
So while Canada got off to a slower start. We& #39;re now moving at a pace that exceeds the US and might, possibly, overtake them in June. Very interesting development. I hope things speed up in the US, of course, and and also keep speeding up here.
