(1/7)An article will be out by Friday/Saturday detailing the scope of the Facebook/Magma solution. It's highly complex, but also incredibly exciting for @0Chain.

For the time being, here's a few bullet points:
(2/7)
- Magma provides a way for operators (ATT) to lower their cost of 5G/cellular/wifi service to providers (airports, malls, coffee shops, college campuses, etc).
(3/7)
More technically speaking, Magma helps offload the cost of deploying base stations for the operator (ATT, Deutsche Telekom, etc). Sas calls this concept "liquid roaming" (an example of roaming on your cell phone: when you're an ATT user but synced into a Verizon tower)
(4/7)
- 0Chain will provide an architecture featuring a smart contract protocol that will secure Magma service agreements from the operator to the provider, and a token incentive model to lower the cost of the Magma solution
(5/7)
- If all goes properly, due to the architecture and the players behind Magma, it has the potential to scale to millions of users quite quickly. Public models leveraging $ZCN will be contingent upon successful private testing, but it's worth noting (cont'd)
(6/7)
the token incentive model, which is integral to the solution, can only work properly on a public network.
- Altogether, 0Chain will serve as the backbone for bandwidth exchange on the Magma network.

In addition to the upcoming article, we will have @saswata_0chain on for AskFeebs to give a concise description on the Magma solution (though this is quite technical and intricate, so you may need to rewatch a few times😄)

More coming soon. Cheers ya'll.

Also, protocol is developed and currently being prepped for showcase. We'll be presenting a demo of our solution end of June to an Operator (what's an Operator? As clarified in the thread above, Operators in this sense are ATT, Verizon, etc).
