Y’all. I’m at a school board meeting. I am in the same room as Nordstrom Karan, aka Kara Bell, aka a Christian Woman of God.

Really wish I had bought that mask that says, “It goes over your nose.” Lots of people have to keep being reminded it doesn’t work on your chin.

I live in this district, but my kids are in private school. I’m here with my pals from @LTProgressives, who are trying to show this community that it’s not all a bunch of racist assholes. It’s been a struggle lately.

This is the overflow room. Qrazy Qara is the woman in the red shirt and chin diaper that I try to zoom in on at the end.

The public comment period is beginning.

First guy up wants to stop our kids from wearing masks in school. He is a podiatrist, I think? He’s reading “studies”.

Apparently they don’t work in hospitals to stop the flu. They make kids hypoxia, which grows tumors.

Half the room cheered when he walked back in here.

Newsflash: Kids don’t love wearing masks.

We have someone up now to speak FOR diversity, equity, and inclusion in the district, because they’ll need it in the business world.
