The @USCIRF just designated India as CPC--says that India has less religious freedom than Afghanistan, Egypt, Qatar, Cuba, Turkey, etc. Why? India blocked @amnesty for FCRA violations & of course, #Kashmir #CAA. @IAMCouncil & partners advocated AGAINST India, FOR sanctions. 1/4
Does USCIRF represent US govt policy towards India? No. That would be the @StateDept, which has NOT listed India as CPC.
