a lot of y’all lack sociological imagination. “no parent deserves to be told this” or “they’re trying their best” no YOUR parents tried their best. some parents DID NOT, some parents abused and scarred their kids and they need to know that. shut up.

me and my moms relationship got much better after i told her she did some fucked up shit, she saw where i was coming from, agreed that it was fucked up and apologized and told me her explanation. you can accept that someone is going through shit n still stand ur ground.
