i love how libido got so much hate then onlyoneof really released a guilty pleasure ver. of the choreo. if ppl actually took the time to learn the meaning behind this song, they’d realize that it’s not so bad

the word “libido” can be loosely defined as sex drive but the definition onlyoneof use is sigmund freud’s version

the song “libido” talks about how “libido” is often considered taboo & should be something that’s suppressed & how a boy tried to suppress his “libido” but it only caused it to grow stronger (if you go to the mv, the description says how the entire ep flows together)

the boy starts out not being able to conceal his “libido” & gives into it like “instinct” (the 2nd song on the ep) he begins to fall in love fast which leads to “byredo” which is meant to be a mirror image of “libido”, of how love can be so beautiful yet so heartbreaking

“byredo” is a perfume brand & the song is how the boy becomes so infatuated with his lover’s scent that it begins to hurt him (even if something is good, too much of it can be bad) so he begins to have a conversation with god (tear of god - the last song on the ep)

the members of onlyoneof sing about the boy wanting to talk to god & explain how he can’t control his lust & how he’s losing himself, & they explain this while singing in a female’s vocal range (this is where i get really impressed)

the entire ep tells a beautiful story not just through their lyrics but through the background music as well. the tempo of each song also describing what the boy is feeling
