It’s interesting that those who leave the Church but remain christian, keep the doctrines J. Smith taught:

Marriage in the next life
God & Christ are separate beings
The dead can repent
Heavenly Mother
Premortal life

But leaving the Church means leaving the doctrine as well.

If you leave the church over plural marriage you don’t have to worry about marriage in the next life at all.

Leaving the church, but remaining christian means you now believe God will burn a lot of people in hell.

One woman who left the Church told me she thinks Joseph Smith was a con-man & a liar, but still believes in Heavenly Mother and eternal marriage.

So he’s a filthy liar, but he just happened to get a few major theological doctrines correct?
