So many of us have seen this short film by Spencer Susser. If you haven't, beware of the TW, here it is pt1
Pt 2
Now the question wil be:
Why do they test products on animals? This is a text by @peta

"Companies test on animals to provide data that they can use to defend themselves when they are sued by injured consumers—even though some courts have ruled that the FDA has failed to show that the results of animal tests can be extrapolated to humans,"
"the unreliability of animal tests allows companies to put virtually any product on the market."
"If cosmetics or household products blind or poison animals during tests, they are often marketed anyway. Companies use the fact that the products have been tested—rather than the actual test results—to support the claim that they are conscientious."
"In most cases, companies settle out of court, preferring to pay off the injured consumer rather than bring the unreliability of their testing practices to light. In some cases, courts have ruled in favor of the injured consumers."
"In the end, animal tests protect no one."
So now that we know these companies like Benefit, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Make up forever, Maybelline, OPI, Victoria's Secret, Elizabeth Arden, Glam Glow, Bobbi Brown, NARS, boscia, Clarins, Origins, as @peta says, sell animal tested products https://www.peta.org/living/personal-care-fashion/beauty-brands-that-you-thought-were-cruelty-free-but-arent/
I already know what's coming with that one specific name there...
Anyways... Now that we know why they test it and who tests it, how should we trust Cruelty free cosmetics?
Most of the time, companies test their products on animals, to creat new formulas or a better, longer lasting product. However, "There Are Over 7,000 Safe Cosmetic Ingredients" that's already been used that kept us going. Meaning that these products are "less toxic" for the body.
So that being said, what are the cruelty free companies we can replace?
Wet n wild, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Cover fx, IT Cosmetics, KK Beauty, Kylie cosmetics, Milk Makeup, Perfekt, Tarte, Too Faced, and more https://www.crueltyfreekitty.com/ultimate-guide-to-cruelty-free-makeup/

Now, how to make sure and how to spot a FAKE "Cruelty free" sticker.
There are ONLY three stickers.
Next, search the companies name and see if it's true.
Some companies won't use these stickers though they are Cruelty Free, so search them up on Peta.
Any other sticker is fake.

I hope this thread helps you put Cruelty Free cosmetics on your skin, knowing you didn't pay to hurt any
