We probably spent a couple of hours calling around, signing up on multiple lists, and we finally had to drive to York Region (golly...)
We were entitled to get the shot and I will not apologize for getting it, but this rollout is shameful. Shameful.

Almost every GenXer in my family was vaccinated today. Not because we need it the most, but because we have leisure time, Internet access, English language skills and access to private transportation.

This thread is absolutely accurate. We only got our shots because staff at the fully-booked pharmacy my partner called volunteered information about another pharmacy, in another municipality, that still had appointments, and we were able to drive there https://twitter.com/amydempsey/status/1384905840457666564
