We& #39;re deep into this 3rd wave and every journalist I& #39;ve chatted with is feeling it.

That& #39;s just wrong.
Suppressing your feelings only makes them worse. Feel the feels, acknowledge them and work through them.
1st time I cried during an interview, I felt ashamed.
Last night, a woman thanked me for shedding tears with her as she cried about her late husband. (2/3)
Every journalist is unique, and some can talk about heavy things with a straight face.
I don& #39;t and that& #39;s okay. I feel with you, I appreciate you, and will continue to sit and empathize in each interview.
Please stop shaming journalists for feeling emotions. (3/3)
