There’s something this Pantami’s exposure is going to teach a lot of you....and that’s the FACT that in this Nigeria, the rules are different for different people and it all depends on your creed and where you come from
Look at Justice Walter Onnoghen...what was he accused of? How long did it take to remove him? Before any official reason was given...then look at Pantami...if you think they are going to remove him...lol then you’re in fir a long ting
A lot of you who I follow live in Lagos...you don’t quite know how the FG works...those of us with both parents who were federal civil servants in this Abuja have a very different perspective as to how Nigeria really works
You see these guys from up north...they sabi this feudalism very well...their emirates know how to wield power in Nigeria very well...that’s why they are everywhere that matters, federal government is their business and that’s why there will NEVER be restructuring
What they will get away with...if you try one tenth you’re going straight to prison...so this whole Pantami thing will blow over and nothing will happen, unless 001 dies of old age or something dramatic shifts at the top
There was an order GEJ signed into law...which compulsory retires anybody who has been a federal director for more than 8 years, it was from a recommendation of Christopher Kolade’s report
The rationale behind that recommendation was, if you joined the civil service as a graduate, and you got all your promotions as at when due, etc, it would take you 27 years of service to become a director, and if you have 35years to serve, the max you can stay as a director is 8
So within any other circumstances, there must have been an anomaly somewhere and so you should retire....
That executive order was the FIRST thing Buhari reversed in 2015 when he got there...you don’t have to ask me why, you don’t even have to guess why...you should already know why
That’s how Nigeria is designed...it’s not for everybody...the owners stay true to it...and either force or negotiate unfairly with the rest of us in this wagon...that’s why cattle will forever be more important than provision of clean drinking water
And the day you realise in your life that you can’t correct this, you can’t fight this system, and complaining about it is counter productive, that’s the day your life starts to get better in its own right 🤣🤣 this place is fucking doomed to fail
After 2015, I made a personal decision to disengage my mind from anything political in Nigeria cos, although I knew things were gonna get bad, I never imagined they were gonna get THIS bad...
The best thing this expose is going to do for a lot of you...is that it will bring you one step closer to the reality of what Nigeria really is...Lekki Massacre showed you a glimpse...as you can see, there’s not going to be any justice or even responsibility claimed
So just know that it’s the reality of many Nigerians from smaller tribes and geographical spaces...’they’ will do whatever they like to you, and they will gaslight you, and there’s no fucking thing bigger than ranting on social media you can do about it,
Another thing that’s funny is, those of us who were born in the late 80’s in Abuja, now we are in our 30’s and this level of tribalism is hitting us like a brick wall, cos we never grew up knowing it like this...
This was our melting pot, we grew up with Nigerians from every corner of Nigeria, we went to primary and secondary schools with ourselves, we forged strong friendships with ourselves, we dated ourselves...but now, the establishment is calling those it has chosen over the rest
And it’s giving us the a real rude shock 🤣🤣🤣 what we used to hear our kin back ‘home’ complain about, is slowly now becoming our reality too...in our front the level playing ground is shifting to those it favors, our old friends are climbing based on where their from and
They are not carrying us along, not because they don’t want to...it’s because they can’t go against the powers that be...a true learning process for us all...
